Noah’s Floating Home
In the story of Noah, a great rain is coming. God tells Noah to build an ark—a large floating home—and bring his family and animals inside.
Noah follows the instructions. The ark holds creatures of many shapes and sizes. While the rain falls, the family waits together, with the animals safe inside.
This is a gentle glimpse of a much bigger story. Rabbi Moose focuses on the care an ark full of living creatures needs. Waiting is easier when we notice who depends on us and do the next helpful thing. A bowl of water for a pet, a safe place to rest, or a patient voice can be a small kind of shelter.
