The Rainbow Promise
After the rain in Noah’s story, the family steps into a changed world. God makes a covenant—a lasting promise—with Noah, his descendants, and living creatures.
The rainbow becomes the sign of that promise. Its colors stretch across the sky, reminding the story’s listeners of a connection that reaches beyond one person or one family.
Rabbi Moose asks the children to imagine looking up after a rainy day. A rainbow cannot make every difficult feeling disappear. But a sign of hope can help us take another step. We can also give small signs of care: a drawing, a kind note, or the promise to come back and help.
